Opened in 1965 by local businessman and civic leader Jim D Moody, we are a family-owned facility dedicated to meeting the needs of our neighbors in Cullman County and throughout Alabama. Our goal is to provide services for our residents that help them live fulfilled, dignified, and healthy lives. We know every person is unique, and we strive to demonstrate that knowledge through personalized care.

Our facility employs over 260 staff members and we diligently work to maintain the highest standards of operation. Our nurses, therapists, and support personnel work together as a team to provide superior services every day.
At HNRC, we are dedicated to helping you live a pain-free life and be as active as you possibly can. In the years since we began providing our therapy services, many people have passed through our doors well on the way to a full recovery.
We provide a specialized Alzheimer’s program to meet the unique needs of those suffering from dementia. Our Alzheimer’s Unit, The Memory Place, is a secured unit within our facility dedicated to maximizing the cognitive function of these residents.
